Kalapatthar, Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Trek

This is the second popular trekking in Nepal with the high efficiency and competitive facilities of lodges and resorts and lies in the eastern part of Nepal. During the trekking anyone can enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha – Nepali name) along with Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumari, Thamserku, Amadablam etc. It is the land of Sherpas. Broken into deep gorges and glacial valleys. The trekking area is covered by Sagarmatha National Park and the total area measured for this park is 1148 sq km. The area has vegetation graduating from pine, hemlock, fir, juniper, birch, rhododendrons and shrubs to alpine plants and then to bare rock and snow. The area is home to the Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow and musk deer. Common birds are the impeyan, pheasant, blood pheasant, red-billed cough and the yellow-billed cough. Elevation ranges from 2845 – 8848 m. Trekking in this region starts either form Jiri or from Lukla

Day 03: Namche Bazaar (rest for acclimatization)
Day 04: Namche Bazaar - Dole
Day 05: Dole – Machhermo
Day 06: Machhermo - Gokyo
Day 07: Gokyo rest
Day 08: Gokyo - Thagna
Day 09: Thagna - Dzonglha
Day 10: Dzonglha – Chola Pass - Louboche
Day 11: Louboche - Gorakshep (visit Kalapather and EBC)
Day 12: Gorakshep - Dingboche
Day 13: Dingboche – Namche Bazaar
Day 14: Namche Bazaar - Lukla
Day 15: Fly Lukla - Kathmandu
