Yala Peak Climbing - 16 Days

Yala Peak is situated in northern part of Kathmandu in the beautiful Langtang valley, this is one of the more easier peaks to climb making it quite popular with novice climbers needless to say the view is breathtaking , langtang valley  with its numerous Eco systems and flora and fauna will not disappoint .

Yala peak is 5500 meters so it is a perfect starter peak for lesser experienced climbers. You drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche or Syabru Bensi, then trek up the valley for three days then explore the Langshisa glacier which also helps in acclimatizing, establishing a high camp at 4800 meters from where we make our summit bid. After an alpine start under stars we are on the summit by late morning, with some amazing views of Tibet and mount Shisapangma (the only 8000 meters peak which is fully situated in Tibet.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley.

Day 03:8 hrs Drive to Syabru (2200m)

Day 04:Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)

Day 05:Trek to Langtang (3100m)

Day 06:Trek to Kyangching Gompa (3750m)

Day 07:Excursion to Tserko Ri (5033m)

Day 08:Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m)

Day 09:Yala Peak summit (5732m)

Day 10:Reserve day.

Day 11:Trek to Ghora Tabela (3050m)

Day 12:Trek to Thulo Syabru (2200m)

Day 13:Trek to Dhunche (1950m)

Day 14:Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu by bus.

Day 15:Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 16:Transfer to airport for final departure or if time is still more then try for rafting, jungle safari or Pokhara visit.
